Neurodivergence
(ADHD, Autism, AuDHD)
We live in a world that was not designed with neurodivergent brains in mind. Sometimes things that you are told “should” be easy, are actually very difficult and you may not understand why and think something must be wrong with you. Nothing is wrong with you, you just have not yet learned how your brain works. Together, we can work on executive functioning skills, emotional regulation, and finding ways to work with your brain instead of against it.
Educators
Being an educator can be very fulfilling and very stressful. Juggling meetings, lesson plans, parents, grades, student needs, and so much more it may feel like you never have any time or energy left for yourself and your loved ones. Together we can develop systems, strategies, and boundaries that help you navigate work more effectively so you can spend more time doing what you love and less time overwhelmed.
Anxiety
Big life changes, stressful jobs, chronic pain or illness, raising kids, the state of the world, and day to day life stressors are just a few examples of where anxiety can creep in. Together we can work to identify where anxious thoughts originate from, learn how to challenge and disarm anxious thoughts, and develop coping skills to help regulate your nervous system so you can live a more peaceful life.
Young Adults/College Students
There is a lot of change and a lot of opportunities with being a young adult. Going to college, starting a career, living with roommates, navigating relationships can all be overwhelming. I can offer you a safe space while you navigate these big life changes and support you in discovering what you want to do next.
Fees & Insurance
I currently provide telehealth video sessions to clients located in North Carolina and South Carolina at the time of session. Sessions last approximately 55 minutes.
Initial Intake Session $220
Individual Therapy Session $190
I am currently in network with most BCBS and Aetna commercial plans. I am not in network with Blue Local and Medicaid plans.
Out of Network?
For clients who have insurance, but I am out of network with their insurance company, I can provide a superbill upon request. For clients who utilize this option, they are paying the whole cost of the session at the time of session and then can request a superbill from me which they can submit to their insurance company to see if they are eligible for reimbursement using their out of network benefits. If you are considering this option, I highly recommend you reach out to your insurance company and ask about your out of network benefits and superbill reimbursement. You may have to reach a deductible or meet some other requirements before you are considered eligible for any amount of reimbursement.
I offer a limited number of reduced rate sessions for clients who do not have insurance or elect to not use insurance to cover services. Please reach out to discuss availability of reduced rate spots and potential costs if this is an option you are interested in.

The first session is called an intake session. During the intake session I will ask questions to better get to know you and help explore what your goals are for therapy. The intake session is often more questions based/therapist led than following sessions will be. You are also welcome to ask me questions about my therapeutic approach, experience as a counselor, or practice policies and procedures at that time.

I am a neurodivergent affirming person centered therapist. This means I prioritize the client’s experience, let them take the lead while I create a safe and encouraging space for them to do so.
I pull from several modalities in sessions as it is appropriate to support and meet the needs of different individual clients. I integrate tools from motivational interviewing, mindfulness, cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, emotion focused therapy, solution focused therapy, and acceptance commitment therapy.
I am also a certified AutPlay provider, trauma informed professional practice (TIPP) trained, sand tray informed and brainspotting informed.
